This is my blog dedicated to New Orleans & Louisiana cooking! I'll give links to great Creole & Cajun recipes and sites, as well as some of my own recipes. I love talkin' New Orleans, food and otherwise! Incidentally, I'm from Detroit. Go Figure. Lets just say I figured out "what it means, to miss New Orleans" and this site helps ease the pain.

Hurricane Dinner at YatCuisine
Check out YatCuisine's tips for cleaning out your Fridge and Freezer as Dennis approaches. By the way, doesn't Dennis sound like too nice of a guy to knock your house down? (I really don't know where I picked up Gordon Lightfoot, he just popped in there.)
I was thinking the same thing about the name Dennis for a hurricane. He actually turned out to not be such a bad dude Hurricane-wise. Perhaps, we should name all our hurricanes Bunny or Sissy or Precious or something sweet. :)
